How To Turn Off Chat For Some Friends

Everybody of us wants to maintain a certain level of privacy even while we are chatting or playing games online. This is also applicable in social networking sites too. In that regard we are going to discuss about how we can maintain our online privacy during Facebook chat.

Go through this below mentioned process which can help you to learn about turn on/off procedure in Facebook chat,

Go to chat window at the right side of your Facebook window

Click on “Options” (Gear icon)
Select “Advanced Settings…”

Here you can get the options for,
Turn on chat for all friends except…
Turn on chat for only some friends…
Turn off chat
If you choose Turn off then your chat option is totally goes offline

Any other options you choose you have to select your friends whom you want to be online or offline. Only type a first few letters of your friends name and you will get the list from where you can choose
